Two industry veterans—Dan Kippycash and Alex Chiou—have announced the creation of The DaVinci Group (TDG), which will launch at the International Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in January at TDG Audio with several new audio lines dedicated to the custom integration channel, along with a new bring-to-market business model.

“We felt the timing was right for a new brand dedicated to the custom channel and with a business model unlike anything our industry has seen before,” stated CEO and co-founder, Daniel Kippycash. “It goes without saying that you need to have outstanding products, service, value and profit margins. But this is where TDG Audio begins. Our business model has been created to be serious business partners with our dealers and our independent representative partners.”

He continues, “We will be working to provide our dealers lead generation, event support, marketing and PR services. Our goal is to help each partner grow and become more profitable. The last elements that truly separate our model from others are that we will be working with a very restrictive distribution channel, no internet sales, no mass market retailer sales, no distributor sales and the icing on the cake is that every dealer and rep will own shares of the company.”

“We look forward to developing products that are unique and provide the custom dealers the type of advantages to win more business,” says CTO and co-founder Alex Chiou. “In our dealer survey and focus groups we received terrific feedback on our first run of products and confirmation that the development path we are taking is exactly what they are looking for. Our first products to market will be in-ceiling and multi-channel amplifiers. We have an exciting line up of new products in development and testing already. We’re looking forward to developing the long term relationships with the entire team for TDG Audio become an industry leader.”

TDG Audio will be exhibiting at the 2013 CES show in Las Vegas at The Venetian Hotel, Suite 29-128. Its initial product launch will include in-ceiling speakers and multi-channel amplifiers. These products will on display at CES and begin shipping to dealers and representatives by the end of Q1 2013.

The line will also include in-wall speakers, LCR speakers, soundbars, outdoor speakers, multi-source/multi-zone audio systems, control solutions and accessories. TDG Audio is a privately held corporation with its headquarters in Chino, Calif.
