For the second year running, leading Arizona integrator and prominent TDG dealer Dennis Sage Home Entertainment, based in Phoenix, has recognized The DaVinci Group with an award for outstanding service and dealer support.
We were extremely proud to be one of the first manufacturers ever to receive the “Ring of Distinction” award from DSHE at CEDIA 2016 in Dallas, Texas, and the only vendor to receive the Vendor of the Year distinction. The award, new this year, acknowledges vendors who go above and beyond to support their dealer network.
Similar to the MVP Award from DSHE, which we won last year for “Continued Excellence, Innovation & Spirit,” the Ring of Distinction award was given to only a handful of manufacturers who consistently support their dealers in both common and unique ways.
“The reason we chose TDG once again is that they keep getting better in virtually all areas,” says DSHE’s Marty Hayse. “They were the only company to receive Vendor of the Year, simply because we felt they were the very best overall.”
DSHE has been honoring exemplary service from their supplier network for more than 10 years, when the integrator first introduced its Most Valuable Partner award at CEDIA. Instead of just bringing a trophy home from CEDIA, winners of the Ring of Distinction award are also recognized in a permanent display in the DSHE showroom. “Five years from now, anyone can come into our store and see the display, which permanently honors our best partners,” explains Hayse.
“[Owner] Dennis [Sage] and I talk a lot about integrity—and TDG lives and breathes it every day,” he continues. “Their team always does the right thing. A couple of times, we’ve had issues with product and they always respond and take the high road. This attitude of support affects the salespeople and their level of excitement regarding selling the line. With effective business programs and the best attainable margin I have seen, they simply are a cut above.”
The entire industry is shifting toward a focus on service—service to consumers and, on the part of the manufacturers, service to dealers. At The DaVinci Group, we’ve always recognized the value and importance of providing support above and beyond what’s expected, putting our dealers in the position to easily offer that same level of service to their customers.
“From a highly responsive service department to programs like our WarrantyPLUS uninstall reimbursement program—which ensures the dealer has the parts on-hand to replace our products and then reimburses the dealer towards the cost of the truck roll—TDG has always gone to extreme lengths to provide a higher level of support to our dealers,” says Jeff Francisco, president of The DaVinci Group, Inc. “While we certainly don’t do it for the awards, it is a great honor to be recognized—especially by a company like DSHE, a top integration firm with a stellar reputation in the industry.”
“Dennis Sage Home Entertainment truly understands the value of service, and that makes this award even more meaningful to us,” says Francisco.
Francisco, along with TDG’s Alex Chiou, received the award from DSHE executives Dennis Sage and Marty Hayse in a short ceremony held during CEDIA 2016. The Ring of Distinction now holds a place of honor alongside our MVP Award at The DaVinci Group World Headquarters in Ontario, California, while TDG is similarly recognized with their name on the Ring of Distinction display in the DSHE store in Phoenix.
“We are proud to support TDG and their product and—most importantly–the team,” adds Hayse.
