8″ Radiate Pendant Commercial Speaker 8Ω/70v/100v
The TDG Audio RPS RADIATE Pendant Speaker is capable of 8 ohm or 70v/100v loads designed to provide flexibility in different install environments. The durable all weather enclosure is built to IP66 standards, matched with an acoustically tuned woofer and tweeter filling any zone with full and rich sound. The addition of 70V/100v settings allows for ultimate flexibility in commercial applications, an input and output loop directly on the speaker makes daisy chaining easy.
Instead of ports we now use passive radiators to increase bass performance. Passive radiators allow enclosures to be smaller and deliver the same amount or more bass than an enclosure without one. In short, small size and big bass! The other acoustic benefit is an increase in power handling.
Passive radiators also improve reliability. They eliminate water intrusion into the cabinet that can happen with ported enclosures. Terminals and switches are now completely sealed by a rubber gasket or screw on cap. All models are designed and built to IP-66 standards to stand up to high pressure water intrusion and comply to the Military Standard 810G for humidity, salt spray, temperature and UV.
